HI gf gal,

Concerning your request. My daughter who is a celiac was tested three
times. The first time was to diagnose her, the second, after a gluten
free diet was to determine if the villi were normal, which they were,
and the third, after a gluten challenge, to convince her parents that
the villa were damaged again, which they were.

I was convinced after the first test and how she responded to the diet.
But the doctor said it was very important for those times when we
entertained the thought of her not being a celiac, and also for those
times when she tries to convince us that she is not a celiac. I'm
really glad we did all three. I have much more ammunition for
discussions with my daughter than I would have if we didn't do all
three. I can't tell you what to do. It was very hard to give her
gluten during the challenge, but we made it and we are glad we did all
three.

Best wishes to you.
