Stacye's posting intrigues me.  My whole family has thyroid disease,
including myself, and my son has recovered dramatically from autism after
being taken off dairy.  He gets severe diarrhea from a micron of gluten but
tests negative for CD (typical in autistic kids w/gluten intolerance).
 Granted, this is a bit of sampling error, but the plot thickens...
