I have a friend who has recently be plaqued with constant, continual
burping. She as no pain what so ever or reflux but cannot stop burping.
Her family doctor is sending her for an upper GI and gallbadder scan next
week but in the mean time she is becoming more distraught and exhausted.
A few months ago she complained about a burning tongue. I looked it up
and my family medical text suggested pernicious anemia. I wonder if this
could be related?

I just wondered if anyone out there ever experienced anything like this
and if so what was the cause. Her family doctor also perscripted some
type of antispasmatic drug which left her feeling drugged but did not
give relieve the symptoms.
