On January the system logfiles on Celiac changed from the format of
monthly logs to weekly logs.

The logs are the history files of all messages posted to the List. This
change will have no effect upon database searches, it is only applicable
to those who request copies of the logfiles for their personal review.
Smaller log files are easier to utilize on your personal computer.

The current command for requesting a copy of a logfile is:
GET CELIAC LOG9512
Where log9512 is used to denote the desired month and year (December
1995).

The command for requesting copies of new logs, after January 1, is:
GET CELIAC LOG9601A
In this case the logfile for the first week of January 1996 was requested.

The general format for naming logfiles is: LOGYYMMW. Where:
YY means the two digit year
MM means the two digit month
W means the desired week. A is the first week, B is the second, C is the
third, D is the fourth, and E is the fifth.

Logfiles from November 1995 through December 1995 did not changed from
the format of LOGYYMM (LOG9512).

Questions can be directed to my ID.
