Lisa, I have a pattern very similar to this: within an hour or less of
accidentally eating gluten, I become extremely hostile. Some time
later, the hostility changes to severe depression. There are physical
symptoms too, but this reaction is so strong that I have almost
literally become a new person since being on the diet. My diagnosis is
by no means confirmed however, so I'd be really interested in hearing
more about your son. If what I have is not sprue, goodness only knows
