>Anyone out there have any innovative ideas for activities for Celiac group
>meetings?

I decided to respond to the list since some others may like to hear some
ideas our chapter has done.
1) Pizza night - meat topping donated by "Freybe" who have a wide
selection of GF luncheon meats, party sticks, etc.
2) Xmas cookie swap - make 6 dozen cookies and bring to the meeting,
everyone bringing cookies gets to take home 6 dozen cookies from other
members, "mix and match", they are to be packaged in 1 dozens in throw away
containers (paper plates).
3) Buffet night - totally GF meal, tickets are a nominal price.
4) Every meeting - those attending are invited to bring snacks for after
the "formal" meeting. Juice and coffee is supplied by the chapter.

I have only been a member for 1 year and these are some of the "specials" I
have heard of. I have not been able to attend all, but I know the pizza
night was a great success. We had a rep from Freybe attend and distribute
lists of their products that are GF, they are also starting to label their
GF with a gluten free label.
