Hi,

I asked this question a while ago and recieved no response. It's
important so I thought I'd try again.

Are spice manufacturers required to list all ingredients on their spice
label in the same way that food manufacturers are?

I have read here about spices being mixed with flours to aid their ability
to flow. I have read the labels on my spices and nothing is listed. Do
I happen to have spices that don't use other ingredients, or are they not
required to list them.

If no one knows the answer, do you know where I can find it? The FDA?
How would I contact them. I do know that I have a reaction to my home-made
chilli but I don't know if it's the spicyness (sp?) or contamination in
the spices themselves.

Thanks,

Debra L. Boutin
