After reading the new book 'Against The Grain' by Jax Peters Lowell,
feel that it should be required reading for all celiacs and those on
a wheat free diet. It is a wonderful resource book as well as a
book written with a humorous side to dealing with the gluten-free
diet. As I was reading, I felt that the author had captured all my
feelings about being diagnosed, dealing with a gluten-free diet etc.
and put them all on paper.

For those lucky enough to live in or near or be passing through
Pikesville, MD Jax will be doing a book signing at Bibelot Books
October 21, 1995 Saturday 3:30 PM.

Attention parents of celiac youngsters Jax has also written a
children's book about celiac disease. The working title is
"Cupcakes and Tummyaches". This book is not in print yet but
keep an eye out for it.
