The article that was posted on diseases of the Small Intestines copyrighted
1994, was quite an eye opener. I plan on sharing it with my "GI" physician
and obtain his feedback on the various complications with CS. I was under
the impresion that if you maintained a gluten-free diet your chances of
developing a cancer of the intestines was lessened as each year passed, and
by 5 years on a gluten free diet your chances were not any greater than that
of a "non Celiac". I am a newly diagnosed Celiac (less than a year) and sure
hope that a "cure" or some form of treatment is forthcoming, I miss my Pasta!
