I am curious to know if there is a way to find out if wheat or gluten is
the cause of my problems. Because of the results of my duodenal biopsy
(flattened mucosal), I was advised to go on a gluten free diet, to which
I responded. However, when querried., my gastoenterologist stated that
wheat intolerance would give the same biopsy results. While eating wheat,
but not gluten, free products had been overtly tolerated, I fear
continuing doing so if it is causing damage at the cellular level. Could
any of the antibody tests that I've been hearind about (anti-gliadin,
anti-endomysial) help to make the differential diagnosis? I would
appreciate any input.

        Thanks,
