There has been recent discussion about malt.  I would like to summarize
some of the facts and continue the discussion.

Malt "is the germinated barley or other grain, used in brewery
distilling.  (2) .  .  .  (3) To produce malt, by soaking a grain and
allowing it to germinate."  >From the Academic Press Dictionary of
Scientific, pg.  1307.

In the US, currently all malt in cereals is from barley.

In the US there is one product that uses malt made from corn.

In the UK, malt is allowed on the celiac diet.

In the countries that allows malt on the diet, what is the grain that is used
in the malt?
