Hi, the below is from our Detailed Ingredient Listing.  Therefore you
would need the listing to lookup the rest of the footnotes.

Annatto color is listed in 21 CFR CH. 1. $73.30 as "(1) an extract prepared
from annatto seed, Bixa orellana L., using
any one or an appropriate combination of the food-grade extractants listed in
paragraph (a)(1)(i) and ii) of this section:

        (1) Alkaline aqueous solution, alkaline propylene glycol
(footnote 73), ethyl alcohol (footnote 107) or alkaline
solutions thereof, edible vegetable oils or fats.  The alkaline
alcohol or aqueous extracts may be treated with food-
grade acids. (ii) Acetone (footnote 144), ethylene dichloride
(footnote 168), hexane (footnote 169), isopropyl alcohol
(footnote 170), methyl alcohol (footnote 171), methylene chloride
(footnote 172), trichloroethylene (footnote 173). (2)
Color additive mixtures for food use made with annatto extract may
contain only diluents that are suitable and that are
listed in this subpart as safe in color additive mixtures for
coloring foods..."
