Don Wiss - and the rest of the list:

I have just had the unfortunate experience of ordering what should have
been a gluten free meal at a lovely restaurant and having a lousy reaction
in both gut and head. Turns out the chicken was sprinkled with MSG. I
forgot to say no MSG>

I have no idea what it is about MSG that would affect my gut. Any
information about that would help me and it might be news to other List
members - or perhaps the rest already know.

Thanks - I assume someone will have a logical answer.
