Hello all: I am Fern Hartshorn, a single woman living near the
Gulf Coast of Texas, just below Houston. I am searching for a
Master's program where I can combine the study of Gestalt Therapy
and Women's Studies, leading to some sort of certification for
counseling and/or training/teaching. I have a BS in Behavioral Science
with a concentration in Women's Studies. I have had some gestalt
training with people who trained with Fritz; but am not certified.
Phil gave me a couple of names of people in Texas that I have not
yet contacted. I noticed that Joseph Zinker, at one time, did
training in Dallas. Any information you could send me would be
appreciated. And, Phil, I like that page about distance learning,
etc.! Perhaps that would be a way for me to go. Does anyone know of
a university, preferably in the Southwest, that might offer classes
or a degree--or is this just wishful thinking on my part. From my
lurking, you appear to be very worthwhile and interesting people; and
I do hope to meet some of you one day. Most certainly, I want to hear
more from you, Ruth Wolfert.
