Dear Andrea,
Two books that come to mind are: In and Out of the Garbage Pail, by the Top
Dog himself and Risking Being Alive , by James Oldman, Tony Key and Igor
Yaro Starak. The latter has brilliant illustrations by Gustav Russ
Youngreen... ex: in Chapter six on RESPONSIBILITY, a disgruntled scrawl of
a man asks the qustion, "Who shit in my pants?"
It is often the case where we/I are in the depths of a situation, dark and
grim with awareness... this is a serious experience. Then the polarity of
all that, and the joy that comes later, when the absurdity of that
experience can be revisited with this often incomprehensible gift that
humans share, humour and laughter.
All of the mentors, teachers and humans that I know have the quality and
humility to share and laugh at their experience, not as a dversion, rather
as part of the gestalt cycle.
Best Regards,
