Hi friends,
Some time ago I had to work on a computer with a funny problem. Every
time I press alt f4 to close a program, instead of closing the program
it would launch Firefox. This was a real nuisance because being
completely blind I rely on the keyboard, I searched from all around
but naturally nobody could think of a solution. Fortunately, one day
I was just browsing the items on the desktop, I came across a shortcut
named report01, I casually pressed enter on it and it launched
Firefox. Then of course, things became clear, I went to the
properties of that shortcut and found that Alt f4 assigned as the
shortcut key. I don’t know why anybody should do such a thing, but
maybe just for the fun of it, they had created a shortcut for firefox
and renamed it as report01, and assigned alt f4 as the shortcut key.
Well it was a really simple but, very confusing trick. So, I am
sharing this experience for what it is worth.
Thank you
Regards
Samson.
