I use Alexa for weather, to see if a restaurant or other business is open, to get addresses of businesses, and to set my Eco Bee Thermostat. It is also nice when talking with friends & a question comes up such as whether or not someone is still alive, who was in a certain movie etc. I love being able to reorder things using Alexa. It is so easy just to say reorder x then buy it now. Lastly, I play a daily game called question of the day. It is a daily trivia game. If you get the first question right you get a second bonus question. It works well, unlike Jeopardy which would not always work right.

I like Vicug-L because you can ask any technology question unlike many email lists that are specific to office, Iphones, or Jaws.
