Vitamite does make a new product that is protein free. Becareful not to
pick-up the blue package only the Red Vitamite NONFAT version. Below is an

VITAMITE Nonfat is a new caseinate-free product that has a mild-flavor that
can be used in place of milk in cooking, baking, cold and hot cereals.
Please be
careful not to confuse their older product, VITAMITE 2%, in a BLUE carton
for VITAMITE Nonfat in the RED carton. VITAMITE 2% is a product developed
for lactose intolerant persons and it does contain a milk protein in the
form of potassium caseinate.
A 8 oz. serving of VITAMITE Nonfat contains 200 mg. of calcium as compared
to 300 mg. in skim milk. For those that are sensitive to soy please note
there is 1 gram of soy protein per 8 oz. serving.
