Hi Harry,

I haven't used any particular person or company for iOS training. Your friend could join the Applevis community and pose questions to their forum. They could also subscribe to podcasts. Ibug is a good resource for free training and they have frequent training classes. There are companies out there like the Tech Juggernaut and
Mac for the Blind which provide paid training.

Your best bet is to do a Google search. There are probably more resources I'm not aware of but you can find them on the Internet. I hope this helps.

Dan

Subject: [VICUG-L] anyone know of a great tutor for the iPhone?

Hi all,

I have a blind friend, up in Bay City, Michigan, and today, he got his first iPhone!

However, he's going to need someone to tutor him.

Anyone know of someone who does that kind of training, that you recommend?

He doesn't want a book.

Harry
