I sent this to Harry see below this might just help you.
Harry I'm going to give you a bunch of information so read the email until the end.
If using the new edge and Jaws narrator and I believe NVDA you must do this. Joseph said this the other day.
1.	Start new Microsoft Edge (not the old one).
2.	From address omnibox (Alt+D), type “edge://flags” (without quotes and as exactly as shown) and press Enter.
3.	Type “UI Automation” into “search flags” and press Tab to move through resulting content (no, DO NOT PRESS ENTER AFTER TYPING FLAGS!).
4.	Go to “Native UI Automation” combo box and select “disabled”.
5.	Press Tab to go to “Restart” button and click it.

For the record, I prefer the updated Microsoft Edge over Google Chrome. It plays some audio file types that Chrome will not (.aac, .ogg), and its layout is more friendly to an Internet Explorer/Firefox user.

That said, the browser does have its downsides--its slowness being one and its inability to play audio/video in desktop players other than Windows Media Player (you actually have to download the file and then click on the downloaded file to play it on your desktop player.) Still, for what I use the computer for, I will take the updated Microsoft Edge any day over Google Chrome. And, for those who would like to download and try the updated Microsoft Edge yourself, go to

http://microsoft.com/edge

If your version of Windows 10 is up-to-date, then the download and installation will be quick and easy.

Hi all,

Well folks, just read the transcript of FSCast 179, and there was a link in the transcript to download the new Microsoft Edge, it's version 79.

They said it was faster, it was not.

Web pages take 15 to 20 seconds to load.

So, I'm staying with Chrome.

Harry
