I used to work in health food stores for over a decade. I became a
dedicated fan of Carlson Labs of Chicago, Ill. I am not associated with
them in any way. They have a full line of gluten-free, "everything-free"
vitamins, including vitamins for vegetarians. Their vitamin E is the very
best. I used to have many customers who could not be persuaded to buy any
other brand, as Carlson's was the one that always worked best for them. It
was customer dedication like that that got me interested in that company.
They got started when Susan Carlson, a pharmacist, had a father with heart
disease, who went to the Shute Clinic in Canada. When they got home they
couldn't find any vitamin E supplements for sale in United States of the
required quality. They have very high quality control standards, run assays
on their products, and can back up all statements. From my experience in
the health food industry, I can attest that this is rare indeed.
