Robert,

Facebook is what technical people sometimes call a walled-garden. In 
other words, it is not the internet, but a closed-up environment 
connected to it. They purposefully isolate content within, to force 
people to be part of it if they wish to access that content.

In other words, they purposefully block you from giving links to direct 
content for those who are outside Facebook. As far as I know, there is 
no easy solution to this problem, which is exactly how they want it.

A possible way out of it is for you to get a blogging system which 
conforms to internet standards. You could try WordPress, for example.
