Harry,


I don't think there's any way to hear the page number of a document in 
Word Pad. I just used the program to open part of a book I'd scanned. 
Even though I had Status bar checked in the View menu, I couldn't find a 
status bar with Jaws or NVDA.


I'm curious to know what others say.
