Sherry
This isn't new; it's been around for years.
Generally, I use Jaws' search feature and search for the string
add to cart.
At times, Sherry, it can be a bit confusing; and, at worst, just add all 3
items and then delete them from the cart prior to placing the order.
I use the search string
delete
and
proceed to Check
for finding the items to delete and then going to the chec out area.
Right now, Amazon needs sales; and showing customers more items ehlps
bring this about to some degree.
It's no different than a sighted customer walking through a store and
dropping items into a shopping cart when walking by something.
Happens all the time when my wife and I go shopping and she sees something
and either throws it into the cart or mentions it to me that they might
have something that I want.
No reason that the online shopping experience ought to be different.
One certainly needs to be careful, of course, that they end up buying what
they really want <smile>!!
