Hi.

First, there's the Milestone 312 Ace WIFI from Bones.

https://bones.ch/milestone312ace-wifi.php

The Blaze ET from Hims is still being sold.

There are some players available from Plextalk. While the Plextalk Pocket is still listed I didn't think they were still developing the software and the Pocket is not a player I'd recommend for the most modern solution.

I'm not highlighting the Evo players because they don't play protected DAISY books such as BARD or Learning Ally.

Still, for those who are interested here's a product page for the E12.

It's also available from Guidelights and Gadgets even though that particular model might not be specifically mentioned.

I hope someone has an answer to this question because I’m in the same situation.

Hi All,

Do we have any standalone book readers comparable to the Victor Stream?

My Stream died this spring, so I've been listening to books on my smart phone. This is fine, but I'm one of those people who likes a dedicated device with hardware buttons. I have tried buying a new Stream. Unfortunately, HumanWare seems to be going through a quality control issue right now.

So I did some Googling. The Book Sense no longer seems to be on the market. I'm not sure whether the Plextalk and the Bookport Plus are on or off the market. And the Victor Trekk and Blaze EZ Reader are more machine and more money than I want to do.

What's out there? Mostly I'd like something that supports BARD and Audible books. Support for daisy text would be nice too, but the lack isn't a deal breaker.

Thanks for any wisdom.

Ciao
