Yes to the uninstall Office2010. As to opening a new Word document, I use the Cortanna search/Windows key, press that key, and type word, and MS Word should pop up. Just hit enter.

Then to get to a new document, hit the escape key once or twice and WaLa.

Hi,

My husband just upgraded my MS office 2010 to MS 2019. How do I open new Word and Excel documents in MS 2019? At the moment MS Office 2010 is still on this computer. Should MS 2010 be uninstalled?
