Hello Madison,
First, update your JAWS even if you go to a subscription. That alone may solve other issues you may be experiencing on the web in general. You should also consider updating your MS Office such as Outlook to a more recent version. With Outlook 2013 you may be having conflicts between your browser and Outlook. Next, you did not mention what browser you are using. I hope it is not Internet Explorer. If it is IE, you should switch to Fire Fox, Chrome, or MS Edge. First though, update JAWS.
Lastly, you did not mention the name of your Internet service provider. So, try MS Disability help desk at: (800) 936-5900
Next, try talking to someone with your ISP..
Hope you able to get it resolved.
Finally, having a gmail account is not such a bad idea either.
Best,
Terri Hedgpeth, Ed.D.

While you've done most of what I would have recommended (and done something I probably wouldn't have recommended), the things you didn't say are who is supplying your non-Google email account (such as Cox) and if you are using Outlook to read your emails. If you are using Outlook to read your emails, then you need to contact Microsoft's Disability Help desk to set up Outlook so that it accepts emails from your Google account. After that, you need to contact your non-Google email provider to find out if their service is automatically deleting emails (without sending them to the Junk folder) from Google Groups. If this is happening, then your email service provider should be assisting you in changing your account's filters to accept emails from Google groups.

Subject: [VICUG-L] email question
Hi all,
I don't know if anyone can help me, or if there's even anything that can be done, but I'm getting desperate as getting a gmail account (which is what the list owner/moderator suggested) for one list is silly. Here's the
situation:
I'm subscribed to this email list that's on Google Groups, don't know how long it's been there. Anyway, it's a grate list and I've been a member for years.
Anyway, I haven't received any emails from the list in months. At first I just thought that it wasn't active anymore, but it's very much still active.
Yes I'm still subscribed, and the owner/moderator checked my settings and I'm supposed to receive all list mail. Yes I've checked my junk/spam folder and there's nothing there. The email address has been added to the trusted senders list, and I've tried unsubscribing and re-subscribing more then once and still nothing. I can send messages to the list and they go through and list members can reply, but I just don't receive any list mail. I'm running Windows 10 version 1909, Jaws 2018 and Outlook 2013. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas, anything I/my carrier/the moderator could/should check/try? Like I said it's a grate list and I really don't want to have to unsubscribe perminatly or get a gmail account for one list. Please help.
Look forward to any thoughts/suggestions anyone may have!!!!! Thank you so much, any help is much appreciated!!
Madison
