Harry,

I don't understand why you don't use Microsoft Word.  If you can't afford to buy it, there is the open office version which is free.

I use TextPad only for editing software.  It has some nice features including the ability to run external programs.  It really isn't intended for word processing.  Some of the editing commands are complicated, and the software needs to be set up.
