Hello list,

I got the following question from a friend. It made no sense to me. I
thought it was probably a scam but thought I'd run it by this list just in
case. Here's the email from my friend:

I got a notice today which indicates that my gmail account is a google plus
account and that these accounts will be shut down in April. I am trying to
figure out how to keep my gmail account and get rid of the google plus part
of the account. Is this issue something that you have encountered on the
technology lists that you subscribe to?

Thanks,
Sherry Wells
