Hello List Mates,
Did you see last weekend’s irresponsible “fake” Gluten-Free news reports about the "new" dangers in our Gluten-Free diet? The stories issue stern warnings (again) about arsenic and mercury in the Gluten-Free diet. The thing is….they are only talking about RICE- ignoring all of the other great, healthy GF grains available to us, like Purity Protocol Gluten-Free Prairie Oats. They spin the stories to make it sound like all GF food is dangerous. While it's true that rice is the #1 ingredient in the majority of GF breads, crackers and cookies - there is nothing "new" about this news. We heard it from the FDA warnings starting in 2012- warnings that were ONLY about rice. If you didn't see the stories, I linked two of them on my blog here: http://bit.ly/256S01Q.
And please NOTE: There is NO rice is any Gluten-Free Prairie products. Arsenic and mercury in not an issue for our pure GF oats.
Fake news like this can really hurt a small "rice-free" business like mine. Today I’d like to lead the charge to set the record straight.
Thanks for sharing the truth.
Deb
