They've been around for a while. I knew of several people who've had them. One guy I knew on Long Island was truly a menace on the road. Haven't talked to him in several years, but I truly hope he's given up on it. As I recall they limited your field of vision, which meant that if you weren't looking in exactly the right place at exactly the right time, you missed what you were about to hit, or what you might get hit by.

I heard about a pair of glasses to help legally blind people drive.
Anyone know what those glasses are called?
It escapes my memory at the moment.
I have a friend who could really use those.
