Hi all,

Just going through the Microsoft Windows keyboard compendium, (it's
available from National Braille Press.) The one I'm going through is
covering all the key stroke commands in Windows 10, creators update,
(that's the latest braille copy available). For years, I have been
wanting to know how many pages my documents are, and in Word Pad, it
doesn't read page numbers. However, pressing the page down key moves you
down 1 page at a time in a document. So, for the heck of it, I opened up
a document, and started at the top of the document, and pressed the page
down key, and counted how many times I had to press the page down key.
Well, in the document that I was doing that in, I counted 94 presses of
page down, so, it's a 94 page document.

I don't know any other way to find out how many pages a document is, but
at least that's 1 way to find out.

Now if only Word Pad would read page numbers, just like Word.

Harry
