Hi, Harry. If you enter bookmarks by pressing Alt+F followed by b, first-letter navigation will work. Hope this helps.

Subject: [VICUG-L] google chrome
Hi all,
Using Jaws 18.0.4350, and windows 10 creators update 1709.
Google Chrome is nice, the pages load fast!!!
However, here's a problem I'm having. Google Chrome will not let me do first letter navigation when I'm in the bookmarks list, and I really don't want to have to down arrow through 100 bookmarks to get to the bookmark I want. I remember, a long time ago, someone on the list, said that in the address bar when Google Chrome is started, that all you have to do is type a few characters of the bookmark you want, and it will take you there. Well, I tried it, and all I got when I down arrowed was a bunch of https addresses, and no bookmark names.
I would absolutely love to use Chrome, but if I cannot do first letter navigation in the bookmarks list, I just cannot use it, and I will have to stick with Internet Explorer.
Harry
