I personally wouldn't use MalwareBytes as a full, antivirus replacement. 

It appears to have good protection against ransomware and exploits and, 

while it does offer antivirus protection, it may not be quite as robust 

as programs like Kaspersky and Bit Defender. Please see this review from 

PC Magazine.
