Harry,
Do you only want ftp links to open in Chrome or do you want all links to open in Chrome?
In either case this is possible if you open the start menu and look for "Default Apps" (without the quotes.)
You can either choose a specific type of link by entering "ftp" (without the quotes) in the appropriate edit field or you can choose a default browser such as Chrome to open every type of link.
Let us know if you have any follow-up questions. Remember that pressing control+R with messages on this list replies only to the sender of this message. Subject: [VICUG-L] opening an ftp link, don't want to use Edge, want to use Chrome

         Hi all,

Using jaws 2020, and windows 11.

I'm trying to open an ftp link.

But every time I click on it, it wants to open it in Microsoft Edge, but I want to use Chrome, not Edge.

Is there a way I can get this to open in Chrome, or will only Edge open these kind of links?

These are old Talking Book topics, from years ago. They're still around, if you go digging for them.

What I should have done is, not just typed call numbers down, but I should have wrote down the names of the books, then, I would not have to go back and look for these old talking book topics.

Harry
