Thanks for passing this along and to Rick for digging up the info.

It seems that more and more guidance is not to use flash drives and MSFT, 
in response, is making their practical use for average users more and more 
complicated.
The things we like about flash drives (portability, easy to carry and 
store away) is also their vulnerability ((easy to loose, easy to steal).
