Harry,
Yes, you most certainly can do however many seconds you want. There is a button that is not marked just above the "Clear" btn and just below the 5. Press that once and then press 3 then 5, then "s" for start and the microwave runs for 35 seconds. If you wanted 2 minutes, press that same button above the clear button, then press 2,0,0 and start for 2 minutes.
Also, for defrost, you press that same unmarked button four times, then enter the time you want to defrost, and start.
Best,
Terri

Subject: [VICUG-L] not a good experience at all with the Panisonic Microwave
Hi all,
Well folks, just got the Panisonic microwave. The braille is absolutely FANTASTIC, it was perfect, and it's wonderful with no turn table.
However, there is a problem with this microwave, and that is, you can only go 10 seconds, 20 seconds, 30 seconds, 45 seconds, and 60 seconds, but what if I wanted to heat something for 35 seconds? which I usually do, when I heat up my sandwiches that I eat.
Cannot do it.
So, it's on the way back to Amazon, and I'll stick with my Amazon Basics microwave which lets me heat something for any amount of seconds that I want.
Harry
