I believe that the responses pretty well explain what has happened.
Also, different browsers sometimes handle pages differently.
So, if Brian still finds the received results not to his liking, perhaps 
trying the BART site with another browser is worth a shot. 
And, personally, I try avoid believing that the way I personally prefer 
seeing things is the way others do.  It may or may not be; and sometimes 
sleeping on an issue is the best thing to do.
Afterwards, I may see things a bit more clearly and understand what 
happened ande why it did. 
In this instance, probably more users will like the modification than will 
be upset by it.
