Hi,
One option is to use the import option. In Firefox, press alt+b for Bookmarks. Choose Show All Bookmarks.
In the resulting area, that Firefox calls the Library, press alt+I for the Import and Backup menu.
Choose the Import From Another Browser option and choose Internet Explorer.

Subject: [VICUG-L] moving Bookmarks to different folders in Firefox
Hi, everyone.
I'm trying to move Bookmarks that I've saved to different folers within Firefox. I switched from using Internet Explorer and have a very organized set of subfolders that I'd created for my Favorites in Internet Explorer over the years. I know how to get to those - by going to From Internet Explorer from within the Bookmarks pull-down menu. But how can I save my new Firefox Bookmarks in my old Internet Explorer subfolders? Right now, when I save a bookmark in Firefox, it just gets saved in the Bookmarks menu. When I've tried going to Edit This Bookmark, I Tab across and see a combobox listing Bookmarks Toolbar, Bookmarks Menu, and Other Bookmarks. But how do I get into each of these? I've tried my arrow keys, alt-arrow keys, etc., and nothing. Simply put, can I move the bookmarks I've saved in Firefox itself into the subfolders I created in Internet Explorer?
I hope this makes sense.
Thank you to anyone who can help me with this.
Rachel
