Harry et al:
TextPad is produced in the UK and can be downloaded and used as shareware.
The URL is: http://www.textpad.com
I don't recall using it to copy and paste any .docx files, but I don't know
of any likely problem.
TextPad can be switched among several different formats from .txt to .html
, and others.

Subject: [VICUG-L] hj pad and .docx files
Hi folks,
In looking for a word processing program to replace word pad, I tried HJPad,
and it absolutely, will not work with .docx files.
So, if you're wanting a word processing program to open that kind of file,
forget HJPad.
Stan, mentioned Text Pad, so, I'm waiting to hear back from him on where to
download that one from. He said it has some cool features!
