Thanks, Jim (and Chris)
When Chris wrote a similar response, my only question was, does that paste it directly into the body of the email, or into the Attachment field as an attachment. So, Jim, thanks for clarifying that before I even asked. Sounds good to me. Especially because I usually seem to have Windows Explorer open anyway. Thanks again, Fellas.
Strive On!

Hi all
There is perhaps a simpler way to send a file as an attachment.
Use Windows Explorer to find the file which you wish to attach to an email. When you find it, do a “copy“ with control plus CE.
Then, go to your Outlook inbox. This next part will sound strange; but, it works!
Once in your inbox, do a “paste“ with control Plus v. This will open a new email dialogue box with your file in the attachment location.
Simply complete the remaining fields, G: Two, CCB and subject field, and your message of course, and you are ready to send your email with its attachment.
Although I have not send multiple attachments in this way, I am fairly sure that it would work the same way.
Give this a try.

Hi Again Ricky, and All, This Time,
Here's hoping I get all the steps correctly. There is, to me, a bunch...
I'll assume you already have opened a New Email, put in all your To's and
CCs and BCCs and Subject and whatever.
First, I try to make sure my cursor is in the Message body, as by forgetting
this step in other email clients boy have I screwed up the email attachment
step previously. Anyway, with your cursor in the Message body just to be
safe, you can tap your Alt key. This opens up the menus and in my Win8.1
Outlook program it says, "Message." Arrow right once and it should say,
"Insert."
Next, down arrow into the Insert menu and the first option highlighted is
Attach File. That's what you want so hit Enter.
Next you will want to hit, or maybe just tap so as not to be so mean to your
computer (smile), tap Shift+Tab to backtab once. Hit Enter on that option,
which on my computer says "Browse This PC."
From there you will Shift+Tab, or BackTab, twice. That should bring you into
your files and folders list, like with Windows Explorer. You can BackTab one
more time, a total of 3 times, to get up one level in the tree system. Your
choice. Anyway, what I do is BackTab twice, then arrow up or down if I'm
already in the right foler. If I need to find the right folder to find the
file, I simply hit the Backspace key to back out of that folder and go back
up the tree level one level. Then begin arrowing around from there, or
typing the first letter of the folder or file I may be looking for to jump
to it.
When you find the file you want to send someone, just tap your Enter key and
it's automatically attached.

Hi Everet and all,
Firstly thanks, I avoided everything and have Windows two thousand on my
other PC still, couldn't decide between Windows seven and ten and so my
brother, who is sighted, eventually decided for me though I avoided Windows
eight though my brother recommended it. To get back to the actual matter at
hand, I think Everet's way in Windows 8.1 also still works in Windows ten
because I tried now and it immediately spoke an attachment name I had,
however, I realise I'm not quite clear, I actually mean the shortcut for
retrieving an attachment from the PC as in a Word document or something as I
send these as part of my work and always seem to go long ways around so how
can I find a Word attachment I wish to send in a brand new message?
Thanks.Ricky Lomey
