I just spent a few wonderful gluten free days in NYC.

Here are the places that I ate at.

Friedman's Lunch
They have 3 locations. I ate at the one in Chelsea Market 75 9th Ave 212 929 7100
Separate kitchen and different shaped plates for gluten free.
Hard to decide what to order. I actually had amazing fried chicken and delicious pancakes!!

Mulberry and Vine 73 Warren 2212 791 6300
a short walk from the 911 Memorial. Gluten free and vegan salads and soups. Wonderful options, eat in or take-out

Mozzarelli's 38 E 23rd St 212 475 6777
A GF restaurant with outstanding pizza, and he even made me a terrific turkey/avocado sandwich for the plane. GF baked goods and more
eat in or take out

Also, these regular restaurants " knew their stuff" & were able to provide me with mouthwatering dinners with lots of choices:

Lincoln Ristorante in Lincoln Center 142 W 65th 212 359 6500

44 & X in Hell's Kitchen area 622 10th Ave 212 977 1170

Keen's Steakhouse 72 W 36th 212 947 3636

Chez Josephine 414 W 42nd 212 594 1925

Concierge at Intercontinental Times Square was very helpful researching things before we arrived.
This web site had loads of places, too
