Harry, are you doing this by saving a Shortcut to your Documents and Downloads folders to your Desktop, or are you creating an entire set of folders on your Desktop? I have merely done the former, with all my folders saved therein.

Subject: [VICUG-L] putting folders on the desktop, not on the c drive? that's right!

Hi all,

For years, I have always been told that I should put folders on the C drive, itself.

However, with Windows 10, and thanks to CathyAnnes wonderful series about windows 10 and jaws, I have now learned, that yes, I can, put all my folders, on the desktop.

What a wonderful thing that is!!! Think of it folks, no more clicking computer, then finding a folder you need! You can put all your folders on your desktop. That saves 2 steps in finding a folder!

I'd like to hear what folks think of that idea.

Harry
