Hardly a week goes by before a new gluten-free cookbook appears on the new
book shelves of our public library. And, of course, we take everyone of
them home. Some of them are strange and others are: "We'd never make that!"
But here is one that is approachable and appears to be well thought out:
The Gluten-Free Table by Jilly Lagasse and Jessie Lagasse Swanson. The
authors are the gluten-free daughters of the famous New Orleans Chef Emeril
Lagasse. In Emeril Lagasse's forward to the book, he describes his surprise
to find out his daughters have celiac disease.
The recipes look interesting and delicious. If you can get the book from
your library, it makes a good browse.
