Allan, regarding the band field, if it has 20 in it but I am putting in a
contact I just made on 17, for example, I just back space over the 20 and
type in 17, and then, when I get to the frequency field, I back space over
the incorrect frequency and type in the correct frequency. Also, I have
noticed that if I just ignore the incorrect band field, it automatically
changes to the correct band when I put in the correct frequency.

QSL Jim, I understand. When I get to the band field, it keeps saying that I
am on something like 20 of 28. I have been filling in the frequency field,
but the band field didn't seem to work the same. When I get my rig hooked
up, that will naturally be taken care of. Thanks.

Alan,
They aren't really combo boxes. They are mislabeled. They are really edit
fields. Those fields either autopopulate if you have the rig interface
active or else you just need to type in the data.

Sorry to be such a bother, but I have another question. When entering a
contact, when I come to the band and mode, I can't seem to arrow thru the
choices in the combo box. I hit enter on the box, but still I can't arrow
up and down thru the choices. What am I doing wrong? Thanks a bunch.
