EASI's June courses still open for registration:
Barrier-free Information Technology http://easi.cc/workshops/adaptit.htm
Advanced Barrier-free Web Design http://easi.cc/workshops/advwbsyl.htm
Barrier-free Information Technology provides the fundamental understanding
of disability, relevant legislation, special adaptive software, and
provides the broad background to help an institution create the
organization-wide support network required by today's decentralized computing
Advanced 'Barrier-free Web Design, like the beginner course, has been
created to meet the needs of those designing web pages but who are not
highly technical types, created for those who depend on authoring tools to
assist their web creation and who have a limited technical knowledge of
HTML. Modern authoring tools permits designers to focus on design without
being bogged down in the details of HTML code itself. If this describes
you, and if you want to make more sophisticated web pages that are fully
accessible, this course is for you.
These courses begin on June 2. Registrations will be accepted until June
6. The advantage of courses that are on the web and can be taken any time
and from anywhere is you can still enjoy the sun and keep up with class as
well.
