Ffor folks who think that "net neutrality" is the answer, when has 
government been the answer to anything -- and that's what so-called net 
neutrality ultimately is.  And net providers are already regulated by 
local communities.  The bottom line is almost everyone at some point is 
unhappy with their cable, satellite, cellphone provider, et al and they 
each play off that by enticing us to switch with promises that things will 
be better -- which likely is impossible to deliver on given the vagueries 
of what they have to deliver.

Hopefully, Brian's situation can be straightened out by the suggestions 
already offered -- and net neutrality would have been of no help to him 
anyway in this situation.
