The message about using the pass-through command that screen reader
users get when they try to go into their library from the audible home
page means that Jaws users should press ins+3 followed by the space bar.
That has never worked for me.

What usually works is pressing enter twice on that link. The two presses
need to come pretty quick, one after the other, and there's a longish
pause before the library page loads, maybe 2 or 3 seconds.

I just discovered that you can also get to your library by visiting

www.audible.com/library

you're prompted to sign in right away, but it works.

Yes, I wish Audible made its website more accessible, especially since
they probably have more than the usual number of blind customers for a
mainstream business.

Interesting comments about Audible tech support. I've called half a
dozen times, and have had good experiences over all. Some techs haven't
known anything about accessibility and screen readers, but were able to
muddle through with me. one did some typing and asked if I was visually
impaired, then appeared to be following a help script for screen reader
users. One seemed to know about screen readers, like he'd handled other
calls before. I've only had one unsatisfactory call, but he followed up
by email, a real email, and the problem was solved the next day.
