Hi All,
My desktop is running windows 8.1 and can't be updated to Windows 10
because of the display or resolution or something like that, so I'm
going to be getting a new computer and passing this one along to a friend.
Instead of formatting the computer, I'm thinking about just deleting my
personal files and removing my account. Based on what I've read, I need
to add my friend as an administrator, then sign into her account, and
delete my account. If I go this route, what exactly is removed? Is it my
files, my settings, my software, or only my ability to sign in?
If I opt for formatting the computer, how accessible is this process?
I'm assuming I lose speech at some point. Is this right?
Thanks for any wisdom.
Ciao
