Ana,
First, pressing ctrl-f4 should close the privacy window without closing 
down the entire browser.
As far as searching for cookies, usually NVDA places focus in the search 
box when I press the "show cookies" button.
However, when in the list of cookies, pressing shift-tab should take you 
to the search box where you can type something like "amazon" and then 
pressing tab should take you to the filtered list.
